Specialist Titles - conveys no points
Awarded for successfully rearing 5 or more species in a single genus (or all species within a genus if the total is less than 5), through stage 4 (60 days post meta, which is considered a "breeding success")

Species First - 500pts
Awarded for being the first to breed a species. Must be able to provide proof of the date of the success via a verifible third party publication including, books, scientific journals, online forums, or the MBI system. Extremely detailed Journals within the MBI required for this award. Star medal is applied over regular success icon to indicate that it is a Species First. X Prize - 1000 pts
Earned for a breakthrough in breeding as determined by the MBI Committee. Possibly included but not limited to:
    First successful breeding of the first species in a genus or family or cracking a particularly difficult species
    Revolution in culturing of food
    Invention of new technologies to ease the breeding process
    Breeding Successes with 30 or more species (inverts & fish in any combination).
    Exemplary contributions above and beyond to further captive breeding and support one's fellow breeders
    Revolution in culturing of food / Discovery of a new food item
